They aren't just fun for kids.
They're specially designed to make your job easier. Here are some ways to use them for hours of in-class or on-line fun! |
1. Share The Carrot, the Dog, the Egg and the Frog ( ... and the Bunny) - Digital Download on your screen while reading it to your students over whatever on-line platform you are using.
|
2. Share the Treble Clef Flash Cards - downloadable questions and answers with your students. They can mark answers on paper or race to place answers on a floor mat.
|
. Share the clef mat from Fun Figures Treble Clef Mat and Game Piece set. Ask students flash card questions. If they don't have their own dry-erase mats to write the answer on they can point to the answers on their Chromebook screens before you circle them on your screen. As students progress you can use the blank side of the mat. You can also share the mat while reading the story and circle answers as you read. This video shows you how.
5. Share pages from Clap & Jump Rhythms - digital download. Students can clap or jump them out at home with you. Play music to clap or stomp with to make it even more fun and challenging!
|
4. Share pages from Color and Clap (and Stomp) Worksheets and have students clap or stomp them with you (the worksheets explain how to do this). Students can color worksheets or look at them on the screen. They can then play the notes with you on their beginning instruments such as recorder, xylophone, ukulele or a plinket!
6. Clap out a rhythm from Clap & Jump Rhythms (or your own), then have your students "build" it on our double-sided dry-erase "Build-A-Measure" mats. Available in 10-packs for classroom use. Build-A-Measure Box Mat (2-Sided, Dry-Erase) - 10-pack
