This downloadable PDF can be used along with treble clef lessons or videos based on The Carrot, the Dog, the Egg and the Frog (and the Bunny) story. The PDF allows students to make an 8.5" x 11" double-sided clef mat and game pieces as a substitute for the Fireside dry-erase mat and game pieces. Students can use this paper mat repeatedly by using game pieces rather than writing on it or by placing it in a plastic page protector and using a dry-erase marker. Multiple copies can also be printed out for single use. Students can make game piece "notes" by printing out the "notes" and coloring them (or printing them in color), then pasting them onto pennies.
