This book makes understanding rhythms a SNAP - and believe it or not, students will actually enjoy clapping or jumping while counting out loud! The book shows rhythms visually so students can easily understand how to count them. The left side pages each show four 4-beat measures using pictures for each kind of notes, and showing what to say when counting each note out loud. The right side pages show the four measures in a different order using standard notation. One person claps or jumps a rhythm from either side and another has to guess which rhythm it was. Students can build also build the rhythms that were clapped on the Build-A-Measure double-sided dry-erase mat (sold separately).
