​Treble Clef Lesson Series

Our lesson videos are separated into 5 note groups, with fun activities for each. The lessons start from the bottom of the staff and move up:

Group 1.  Low C&D (6 lessons)
Group 2.  Low E, F & G (5 lessons)
Group 3.  G, A & B (3 lessons)
Group 4.  A, B & C (5 lessons)
Group 5.  High D, E & F (2 lessons)

The lessons start with a funny story The Carrot, the Dog, the Egg and the Frog, that introduces simple pictures and colors representing the treble clef notes.  This is followed by activities including singing silly movement songs, coloring, flash cards, stomping and playing a nifty little instrument called a plinket.  

Step 1 - Treble Clef Story and Songs  The lessons start with a funny story The Carrot, the Dog, the Egg and the Frog, that introduces simple pictures and colors representing treble clef notes.  The first step to remembering the notes are silly activity songs that reinforce the story and notes, walking through movements including stomping back and forth, clapping and jumping.

Step 2 - Coloring 
​These coloring portion of the lessons reinforces four pictures from The Carrot, the Dog, the Egg and the Frog story that together, teach all the notes on the treble clef staff.  This portion also provides practice drawing letters A-G and recognizing colors.​

​Step 3 - Flash Cards  
​From simple matching to the Level 3 Ultimate Challenge, the flash card portions of the lessons help students remember the treble clef notes using pictures and colors from The Carrot, the Dog, the Egg and the Frog story.  The flash cards move from slow-paced fun to an exciting challenge!

​Step 4 - Stomping 
Stomp out simple 2-3 note music is a fun way to reinforce the notes on the treble clef staff.  It's also a simple way to understand notes getting higher or lower on the staff.   
​8 videos - $20/year.  
Step 5 - Plinket  
Learn a fun and easy way to remember the keys on a keyboard based on The Carrot, the Dog, the Egg and the Frog story.  Then play simple music on a make-it-yourself instrument called a Plinket!
​14 videos - $25/year.
