Fireside Music Learning Method
A brand new fun way to learn music!

Based on the idea that a picture's worth a thousand words, the Fireside programs rely on fun and easy to recall images and patterns to help students learn quickly and have fun doing it!  The images are reinforced through kinesthetic activities including running relay races or jumping on giant piano and treble clef mats, jumping or clapping out rhythm and note patterns and coloring in short music pieces. This creates a multi-sensory learning process that helps the information sink deep into their minds and stay there!

Hunt & Peck Piano - A great introduction to music for younger students!

Students will a great time running relay races on giant keyboard and clef mats, singing and acting out story songs,stomping to beats, clapping out rhythms, writing and playing simple music on a keyboard!  The classes also teach simple mathematical concepts (whole, half and quarter) and reinforce numbers 1-4, letters A-G and ideas such as high and low and left and right.  Your children will be having so much fun they won't realize how much they're learning! 

CLAP AND JUMP UKULELE - FOR THE PERFORMER IN EVERY ONE OF US!

Finally something children love to play as much as their computer games!  The ukulele is a great instrument that doesn't take a lot of practice.  In just 8 weeks students will learn 6 chords and 8-10 pieces of music that they can sing by themselves or with family and friends!  Plus they'll learn how to read chord charts so they can figure out many other songs as well.
