Hunt & Peck Piano
A great introduction to music for younger students.

If you would like your child to learn to play the piano or any other instrument, but feel that he or she is still too young, then our Hunt & Peck lessons are just for you!  You're children will be coloring, running, jumping on sock mats, playing Twister and generally having a ball while learning foundational skills such as the treble and bass clef notes, the names of the piano keys, how to read and play simple music and understand simple rhythms.  In the Introductory course they won't be using a keyboard yet, but instead, will jump on a "keyboard" made out of socks.  Beginning with the Level 1 course (after the Introductory course), they'll "hunt and peck" for notes on a keyboard (a fold-up keyboard is fine) as they begin to read music.  Our Introductory Video below shows just how much fun they'll have with our amazing unique teaching method!

The class series begins with a 6-week introductory course and continues with three subsequent advancing 8-week courses (Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3 - see What students will learn).   If enough students are interested, subsequent classes will continue in the same time slot.

Students will get familiar with the keyboard and treble clef by jumping on mats like these made out of socks so they can make them in any room of your house!
